Research: Crisis of Memory and Memories in Motion: Narrating Genocides for Peace Education
Lorenzo Zaffram is a Ph.D. student in the National PhD in Peace Studies (Sapienza University of Rome), Curriculum 4 “Education for Peace and Migrations,” with a scholarship awarded by the University of L’Aquila. His research project, entitled "Crisis of Memory and Memories in Motion: Narrating Genocides for Peace Education", investigates the role of narrative and memorial processes in fostering a culture of peace.
He graduated with honors in Primary Education Sciences (LM-85bis) from the same university, where he completed an experimental thesis in gender pedagogy on representations of masculinity among young adults. His research interests include gender pedagogy, intercultural pedagogy, and peace education, with a particular focus on the role of memory within educational peacebuilding processes.
He is the author of reviews published in academic journals such as MeTis and Form@re, and of two essays, one of which co-authored:
