Thesis title: The Network Analysis of Athanasius Kircher’s Hungarian Correspondence
The goal of the research project is that the Hungarian connections of Athanasius Kircher, which are so far largely unexplored, can be mapped and analysed using an interdisciplinary approach of network analysis methodology. In addition to this, the mentioned interdisciplinary methods can offer a wide spectrum of resulting data and allow the spatial, chronological, qualitative and quantitative examination of Kircher’s Hungarian network.
