PhD in Social Psychology at the University of Coimbra. He have done also the European PhD on Social Representations and Communication (University of Rome ‘La Sapienza’, University of Helsinki, ISCTE Lisbon). Associate Professor and coordinator of the PhD program in psychology (2015-2021) at the Faculty of Psychology and Educational Sciences of University of Coimbra. His main research focus is on the fields of social representations, intergroup relations, cultural diversity, and political psychology. In these domains he has been Principal Investigator as well as team member in several Portuguese national funded projects and in European funded projects (namely, 7th Framework Program and COST).
