I am an Associate Professor in Social Psychology from the Institute of Psychology of the Federal University of Uberlandia - UFU / Brazil. I concluded my Graduation course in Psychology at the Federal University of Santa Catarina - UFSC / Brazil in 2006, and my Master’s at the same institution in 2007. In 2011 I concluded a Ph.D in Social and Personality Psychology at the University of Padua / Italy. Since 2012 I am part of the teaching staff at UFU. As a social psychologist, I have carried out research on social representations and ideology, at first focusing on the structural approach to social representations and social representations methodology. In the last five years I have studied social factors of ideology adhesion, and I am currently conducting research on theoretical perspectives linking semiotics and social psychology, with an emphasis on social knowledge and representations.
