In 2022 he obtained a master's degree in Italian language and culture at the Palacký University of Olomouc. His thesis, entitled "Zerocalcare: from comics to cinema", written under the supervision of Professor Alessandro Marini, analyzes the film adaptation of the first graphic novel by the roman cartoonist. During his studies, he took advantage of the opportunity for a study stay within the Erasmus program in Rome at La Sapienza University. Besides he carried out an internship at the Czech Cultural Institute in Rome. He is interested in the communicative mechanisms of comics and its functioning in the adaptations of literary works. His research project intends to propose a comparative analysis of some of the main works of Czech and Austrian literature of the 20th century, and their corresponding adaptations, to analyze how the perception of the original works has changed over the years and through the different cultures.
