Research: From European Digital Sovereignty to Individual Self-Sovereignty: The Algorithm Through the Prism of the Right to Personal Identity

In the academic year 2010/2011, she earned her Master’s Degree in Law with a final grade of 110/110 cum laude, presenting a thesis in Legal Informatics titled “Telematic Pedophilia”, which was awarded Distinction and Special Mention at LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome.
In the a.y. 2012/2013, at the same university, she completed the Postgraduate Specialization Program for Legal Professions (Scuola di Specializzazione per le Professioni Legali – SSPL), focusing on judicial and forensic practice. In 2017, she was admitted to the Bar and licensed to practice law. In the a.y. 2020/2021, she earned a second Master's Degree in Publishing and Writing from the Faculty of Arts and Philosophy at Sapienza University of Rome, graduating with a thesis in Audience Research titled “Mediatization Between Freedom and Surveillance” and receiving a final grade of 110/110 cum laude.
She is currently a Ph.D. candidate in European History at Sapienza University of Rome, with a research project titled: “From European Digital Sovereignty to Individual Self-Sovereignty: The Algorithm Through the Prism of the Right to Personal Identity.” During the a.y. 2023–2024, she was a Visiting Researcher at the Institute for Information Law (IViR) at the University of Amsterdam (UvA), working on the project "Algorithm as a Social System: A Model for Investigation." She is currently a research member at the Center for AI and Digital Policy (CAIDP) [https://www.caidp.org/global-academic-network/ai-policy-clinic/] and of the Internet Society Italy (ISOC Italy Chapter) [https://www.isoc.it/].
She has collaborated with various academic journals, including: Geopolitica.info; Rivista Elettronica Diritto Economia e Management; Federalismi; Communications – The European Journal of Communication Research; NAD – Nuovi Autoritarismi e Democrazie: Diritto, Istituzioni e Società; Medialaws; Rivista "Gruppo di Pisa"; and Antinomie. She is also a member of the Scientific Secretariat of the book series "Tiresia – Future Studies and Law," published by Editoriale Scientifica.
