Academic Appointments:
Isabella Chiarotto is an associate Professor of General Chemistry at the Sapienza University of Rome. In 2018 she received National Academic Qualification as full Professor in Area 03/B2 FONDAMENTI CHIMICI DELLE TECNOLOGIE. She has undertaken her teaching duties for the classes of General Chemistry since 1996 in (courses for the Bachelor Civil Engineering and Energy Engineering . In 1989 she received the Pharmacist Licensure.
She is member of the Doctorate Committees of the PhD Programs in Member of Professor Board of the PhD in Dottorato in ENGINEERING AND APPLIED SCIENCE FOR ENERGY AND INDUSTRY.
She is supervisor of the experimental laboratory work of last-year graduating students of the Courses of Pharmacy and Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technology (CTF) for the preparation of experimental theses for Master's degree.
Scientific Activity Current Research Interests:
Electrosyntheses of nanomaterial from Agrifood waste. Electrochemical studies and applications in organic syntheses. Use of ionic liquids in electrochemical syntheses of substance for biological and pharmaceutical scopes. Mechanistic studies and synthetic development on Palladium complex under CO atmosphere.
