Irene Baldriga is Associate Professor at Sapienza University of Rome, where she teaches Museum Policies, Heritage and Citizenship, and Museum Education. She is a member of the PhD Board in History of Art at Sapienza, President of the Degree Course in "Scienze della Moda e del Costume" (Fashion Studies) and Third Mission Coordinator of the SARAS Department. She is an external researcher in the HISTARA group (Histoire de l'art, des représentations et de l'administration dans l'Europe moderne et contemporain) at the Ecole Pratique des Hautes Etudes in Paris and a member of the Scientific Committee of GREM (Groupe de Recherche Education et Musées) at the University of Quebec in Montreal. She is co-founder and a member of the Scientific Committee of the Centre for the Study of Critical Museology, Valorisation and Public Participation. She is a scientific partner in several national international projects on museum education, citizenship, inclusion, decolonization. She has published extensively in the field of art history in early modern Europe, museology, history of collections, musem politics and museum education.
