Ippolito Pucci works as a legal consultant in the Legal Office of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. He is currently on special leave from the Italian Anticorruption Authority (Autorità Nazionale Anticorruzione – ANAC), where he has been employed since 2009, working in in the Legal Office and as personal assistant of one of the members of the Board. Prior to joining ANAC, he started his career in the public service as an intern at the Italian Antitrust Authority (Autorità Garante della Concorrenza e del Mercato). He has also worked in the private sector, most notably in Buenos Aires, Argentina, for the Law Offices of Professor Rodolfo Carlos Barra, former Argentinean Supreme Court Justice, and at his family’s own firm, Studio Legale Pucci in Rome, Italy. He teaches and writes on topics of public procurement law and regulatory intervention in private sector markets. Ippolito earned his Honors BA in Jurisprudence and his MA in Public Law from the University of Rome –Tor Vergata, both Magna Cum Laude and obtained a Master Degree in Public Administration from the Universities of Rome La Sapienza and LUISS. While a student, he was President of the Rome chapter of ELSA the European Law Students Association.
