Thesis title: L'Innovazione digitale nel settore giustizia: tra utilizzo dell'IA e decisione robotica

The paper analyzes the impact of the digital revolution and Artificial Intelligence on the justice system. Starting from the awareness that the digital phenomenon also challenges the classical categories of public law, the work is divided into three directions: the analysis of the legal dimension of AI and its regulation, focusing on the European Regulation on AI (2024/1689, AI Act); the examination of the relationship between technologies and the judicial function, considering potential applications and structural limits of robotic decision-making; and the in-depth examination of the role of legal databases and the "Ufficio per il Processo" as tools supporting the efficiency and effectiveness of justice. The purpose of the research is to offer a contribution to the definition of a legal framework which rethinks the jurisdiction function in light of technological transformation and enhances innovation without sacrificing the indispensable human dimension of judging.
