Graziella Orrù is a senior researcher at the Department of Surgical, Medical, Molecular Pathology,
and Critical Care at the University of Pisa, working in collaboration with the University Hospital of
Pisa (AOUP).
She is an expert of non-invasive brain stimulation (NIBS) protocols, neuropsychology, cognitive
rehabilitation and machine learning classification. She worked in the UK at the King's College,
UCL and International Organizations like The Disability Trust in Cambridge. She is a registered
Psychologist and Psychotherapist in Italy and a Clinical Psychologist in the UK (HCPC
registration). During her time in London, she received the "International Don Luigi Di Liegro
Award” in Rome (October 2013) recognizing her contribution to Research, Promotion of Human
Rights, Communication, and Dissemination of Scientific Information. Her research interests
includes NIBS in particular tDCS, Neurorehabilitation, Neuropsychology, Machine Learning (ML)
Classification, Large Language Models (LLMs) and psychometric research methods.
