Giuseppe Stecca is a Researcher in Istituto di Analisi dei Sistemi ed Informatica "Antonio Ruberti" of Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche (CNR-IASI). He got engineering management degree in 2000 at University of Rome "Tor Vergata" of Rome. In the same university He got the Ph.D. in economy and management engineering in 2004. He did abroad work periods in NRC Canada, and at University of Kobe, Japan.
He is chair of the course "Supply Chain Management" at University of Rome "Tor Vergata", faculty of engineering management, chair of the course "Models of Production Systems", at online University of Rome "Guglielmo Marconi", faculty of informatics engineering. It has been member of the directive council of the Italian Association of Operational Research (AIRO). He was referee of research projects for Italian Ministry of Economic Development, area Industry 4.0 and digitalization. He is referee of research projects for Tuscany Region area Smart Manufacturing.
His main research interests are related to Green Supply Chain Management and Optimization, Mixed Integer Linear Programming, heuristic and metaheuristic Optimization Algorithms. He was responsible and he contributed to several research projects both national and regional related to the optimization for circular economy, emergency logistics, sustainable mobility, manufacturing. He is co-author of more than 40 scientific publications in international journals and proceedings. He is referee for several international scientific journals, and editor of two international scientific journals.
