Member of the teaching board of the PhD in "Person, Market, Institutions" - Cycle XXXIII - lasting three years, established at the University of Sannio (Coordinator Prof. Antonella Tartaglia Polcini).

From 14 December 2009 to 31 January 2011 he was Director of the Department of Analysis of Economic and Social Systems (DASES) of the University of Sannio.

From 16 February 2011 to 28 February 2013 he was Director of the Department of Economic, Legal and Social Systems Studies (SEGIS), of the University of Sannio.

From 6 June 2013 to 30 October 2019 he was Director of the Department of Law, Economics, Management, Quantitative Methods (DEMM), of the University of Sannio.

His research areas concern: Sustainable development models of agri-food companies and internal areas; Rural development policies and for internal areas; Multifunctionality and creation of value for the enterprise and the territory; Governance and new models of inclusive economy; Responsible consumption and Corporate Social Responsibility.

He is the scientific director of numerous research projects on PON and PSR Campania.

From March 2011 to June 2014 he was a member of the Editorial Committee of the Agricultural Economics Journal of the Italian Society of Agricultural Economics (Sidea), published by Franco Angeli editore.

2019-2021 he is Guest editor of the SI "Sustainability and Resilience of Rural Socio-Ecological Systems" published by the scientific journal MDPI Sustainability.

2020-2021 he is Guest editor of the SI "Sustainable Innovation, Social Responsibility and Governance in the Agri-Food Value Chains", published by the scientific journal MDPI Sustainability.

He is the author of more than one hundred publications in national and international scientific journals.
