Impact of his scientific production and activities
He has authored and edited several publications. Many of his ideas and theses, although original and upstream, have had a significant impact on several scholars', as well as on national courts' decisions (see for all: Tribunale of Verona, 23 March 2010, about the possibility of upholding a contract affected by relative invalidity; and Appeal Court of Salerno, 30 September 2009 no 836, about the absolute need to check the legal worthiness of any transactions), Italian Court of Cassation's decisions (see for all: Corte di Cassazione 20 July 2011 no 15892, on the professional liability of public notaries), and judgments of the Court of Justice of the European Union (see for example Case C-40/08, Asturcom Telecomunicaciones SL v Cristina Rodríguez Nogueira, Judgment of 6 October 2009; Case C-243/08, Pannon GSM Zrt. v Erzsébet Sustikné Győrfi, Judgment of 4 June 2009). His ideas also influenced the Revenue Agency's activities (see circular E3/2008 on succession, donation and trust settlement), and lately on the Italian legislator (see Art. 10-bis legge 27 July 2000 (as introduced by decreto legislativo 5 August 2015 no 128) about the general application of the "abuse of law" principle in taxation matters).
