George Cristian LAZAROIU is full professor (ssd ING-IND/33 - Electrical Systems for Energy) at the Department of Power Systems, National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest, Romania, since October 2020.
He graduated in 2002 in Power Systems Engineering for Energy at the POLITEHNICA University of Bucharest, Romania with 9.86/10, and obtained his PhD in Electrical Engineering at Politecnico di Milano, Italy in 2006. Dr. Lazaroiu has been an assistant angineer, lecturer, associate professor at the Department of EPower Systems, POLITEHNICA Bucharest from 2002 to 2020. Since 2015 he has held the national qualification in Energy Engineering.
TEACHING ACTIVITY: since 2008 teacher of Electricity Market, Monitoring and control of power quality, Mathematical methods for the optimization of energy processes, at various undergraduate and graduate courses in Engineering.
