Research: Nanoparticles for Analysis and Identification of polluting Agents and Dyes in both indoor and outdoor Environment

Greta Peruzzi earned her Bachelor Degree in Conservation Science from the University of Florence with a thesis focusing on the non-invasive identification of natural dyestuffs employing spectroscopic techniques. Subsequently, she pursued and successfully completed a Master's program in Science and Technology for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage at Sapienza University in Rome. During this period she deepened her interests in the study of archaeological and historical textiles. Her research interests involve the development of minimal/non-invasive spectroscopic methodologies for the characterization of complex matrices in objects of art, with a specific emphasis on textile artifacts. Recently she also gained interest in the study of plasmonic nano-systems for the study of Cultural Heritage.
