Giuseppe Cerullo was born in Naples in 1996. He attended the artistic high school (Architecture, Environment, and Design section) "L. Giordani" in Aversa (CE). After obtaining his high school diploma, he enrolled in the three-year degree program in Building Sciences and Techniques at the Department of Engineering of the University of Campania "Luigi Vanvitelli." He graduated with a thesis titled "The Role of Failure in Successful Projects" in the field of Structural Engineering. Subsequently, he continued his studies in the Master's degree program in Project Management and Construction of Building Systems at the Interfaculty of Architecture - Civil and Industrial Engineering of the University of Rome "La Sapienza." He graduated with a thesis titled "Student Housing as a Driver of Win-Win Valorization Processes for Unused Real Estate Assets". His thesis received honors and was highly regarded. After completing his Master's degree, he had the opportunity to work for a multinational company as an optical fiber designer, actively contributing to the advancement of communication infrastructure in the context of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) for 1G and 5G Backhaul in the national territory. His responsibilities included drafting preliminary and executive projects with associated documentation, with a significant focus on civil engineering, including defining areas of intervention and selecting different excavation techniques for new installations and the use of existing sub-pipelines. Following this experience, he worked for a leading company in the real estate asset management and valorization market, holding the position of Junior Facility Manager. In this role, he deepened his understanding of Facility Management service execution and acquired skills in preparing estimates and cost reports. In October 2023, he obtained the professional engineering license, Section A, from the University of Campania "Luigi Vanvitelli." Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. in Architecture and Construction at the University of "La Sapienza" in Rome.
