1997- ongoing: Coppa Nevigata (Foggia, IT). Excavation and studies of the fortified Bronze Age settlement, in collaboration with the ‘Sapienza’ Univesity of Rome. Directors: Alberto Cazzella (‘Sapienza’ Univeristy of Rome), Giulia Recchia.
2003 – ongoing: Tas-Silġ (Malta, MT). Excavation and studies of the Late Neolithic megalithic sanctuary and its re-use during the Bronze Age/ Early Iron Age, research activities of the Italian Archaeological Mission in Malta. Directors: Alberto Cazzella (‘Sapienza’ University of Rome), Giulia Recchia.
2016 - ongoing: the UCL/UNIFG Prehistory Project: “Tavoliere-Gargano Interface”. Studies on settlement patterns and socio-economic use of the landscape between the upper Tavoliere plain and the Gargano promontory (Apulia- IT) during late Prehistory (Neolithic, Bronze Age, Early Iron Age). Lead in collaboration with Sue Hamilton and Ruth Whitehouse (UCL – Institute of Archaeology, UK).
2017 – ongoing: “Cultural Encounters across the Adriatic and Ionian seas. 2500-2000 BC”. Studies on the spread of Cetina-type pottery and related cultural phenomena in the Central Mediterranean, including archaeometrical and Stable Isotope analyses. Lead in collaboration with Maja Gori (University of Bochum, DE). In this framework she participates in the “CEVAS - Cetina Valley survey” project directed by Helena Thomas (University of Zagre, HR).

2000-2009: Masseria Chiancudda (Brindisi, IT). Excavation and studies of the fortified Bronze Age settlement in collaboration with the Soprintendenza per i Beni Archeologici della Puglia. Directors: Angela Cinquepalmi (Soprintendenza per i Beni Archeologici della Puglia), Giulia Recchia.
2003-2008: “Murge Tableland Project”. Surveys of the landscapes and archaeology of the Bronze and Iron Ages, Roman and Medieval periods of the Murge tableland and Brindisi coastal plan (IT) in collaboration with the Vrije Universiteit of Amsterdam and the University of Salento. - I organised together with M. Gori the session ‘The making of Adriatic and Ionian seascapes. Interpreting seaborne social and economic interactions during late Prehistory’ in the framework of the 24th Conference of the European Association of Archeologists (Barcelona, September 2018).
- I took part in the Scientific Board of the XLVII Scientific Conference of the Italian Institute of Prehistory and Protohistory: “Prehistory and Protohistory in Apulia” (Ostuni – BR, 9th-13th October 2012).
