I'm currently a PhD student in sociology & applied social research at Doctoral School in Social and Sciences and Economics (XXXVII cycle), with a research paper entitled "Migrants and local development in the Italian Inner Areas: opportunities and
critical issue".

In 2020, I received my master's degree in Applied Social Sciences from Sapienza - University of Rome, with a thesis titled "Lo spopolamento delle aree interne in Italia: il caso di Oltrepò(Bio)diverso" (grade 110 cum laude/110). In the same year, I was awarded a special mention, for the quality of the work done in my thesis, by the Associazione Comuni Virtuosi, as part of the "Dario Ciapetti" Scholarship.

My major research interests concern the analysis of development policies addressed to small villages in the inner areas of our country, focusing on the link between migration and the possible renaissance of these territories. Currently, I am focusing specifically on small Calabrian villages that are proving to manage welcoming and integration policies.

PROFESSIONALIZING EXPERIENCE

- In 2022, I wrote a report on the meeting "Youth in the Inner Areas and the
community entrepreneurial forms: Meeting with Coopfond," sponsored by Officina Giovani Aree Interne.

- Between 2021 and 2022, I collaborated as an editor with the newspaper Pandora Rivista, dealing with the following articles: “Culture e pratiche di partecipazione” a cura di Roberta Paltrinieri (the latter included within the paper editorial 2/2022: "Globalizzazione a pezzi?").
