Research: Towards a new vision for the immovable heritage: preventive conservation and adaptive reuse

PhD student in Earth Sciences (38th cycle, "Environment and Cultural Heritage" curriculum), with the project "Towards a new vision for the immovable heritage: preventive conservation and adaptive reuse". The overall objective of this project is to identify effective strategies to preserve and manage war massive buildings belonging to the immovable cultural heritage, through the study of indoor microclimatic conditions, the formulation of strategies for the conservation of the outer structures, and the proposal of new adaptive uses. The main object of the study will be the bunker "Dora I" (Trondheim, Norway), now home to archival and movable cultural heritage, which is for its peculiar characteristics, an example of optimal reuse of war construction. Short Curriculum Vitae: Master’s degree in "Sciences and Technologies for the Conservation of Cultural Heritage" (LM-11) obtained in 2021 at "Sapienza" University of Rome (110L). Bachelor’s degree in "Technologies for the Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage" (L-43) obtained in 2019 at "Sapienza” University of Rome (110L). Erasmus+ Traineeship post-lauream at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim (Norway), during the period April-June 2022. Master course "Nondestructive Techniques and Structural Health Monitoring" (TMM4167) at NTNU. Collaboration in the organization of the University Summer School "CHePiCC - Cultural Heritage Protection in Climate Change" (June 2022) at NTNU.
