Prof. Giovanni Fabbrini, born in Livorno in 1957, graduated and specialized in Neurology at the University of L'Aquila. He is currently Full professor in Neurology at the Department of Human Neurosciences of the "Sapienza" University of Rome. He worked as Visiting Fellow at the NIH, Experimental Therapeutic Branch, Bethesda in 1984-1987, and Visiting professor at the Washington University of St Louis in 2013. He is currently in charge of the clinic for the diagnosis and treatment of movement disorders (including the day-service for the administration of botulinum toxin), is responsible of the center for rare neurodegenerative diseases. Since 2017 Prof Giovanni Fabbrini is president of the Occupational Therapy Course at the Sapienza University of Rome. Prof Giovanni Fabbrini is Secretary of the Italian Society of Neurogeriatrics and member of the Executive Committee of the Italian Academy for Parkinson disease. He is also a member of the Education Committee of the Movement Disorders Society. He is the author of 230 papers published in international scientific journals, with an H index = 48.
