Giovanni Cerulli Irelli is associate professor at the department S.B.A.I. of Sapienza-Università di Roma. His research focuses on representation theory and algebraic geometry. More precisely: finite dimensional algebras, cluster algebras, quivers, quiver Grassmannians, representation varieties of algebras, derived categories. The academic career of Giovanni Cerulli Irelli started in 2004 with a master in mathematics at the department "G. Castelnuovo" of Sapienza-Università di Roma. In 2008 he defended his ph-d- thesis in mathematics at the math department of the university of Padova under the external supervision of Prof. Andrei Zelevinsky of the Northeastern University of Boston and the internal supervision of Prof. Alberto Tonolo. After eith years of post-doc in different countries, giovanni cerulli irelli started a tenure track position at the department S.B.A.I. in 2016.
