Research:
Curriculum Vitae et Studiorum
Since November 2023, he has been conducting doctoral research in History, Anthropology, and Religions at the SARAS Department of Sapienza University of Rome (XXXIX cycle), within the historical-religious curriculum. His fields of study include the history of Late Antique and Medieval Christianity, with a particular focus on the so-called Germanic “Arianism” and the religious policy of the Ostrogoths. His research concentrates on the interaction between political power and religion, with specific attention to liturgical and exegetical literary production in both Gothic and Latin. Since January 2024, he has been appointed "Cultore della materia" for the following three years in History of Christianity (M-STO/06) at Sapienza University of Rome.
In September 2023, he obtained a Master's degree in Historical Sciences: Middle Ages, Modern Age, and Contemporary Age (LM-84), with a curriculum in Medieval History and Palaeography, at Sapienza University of Rome, graduating with a final mark of 110/110 cum laude. His thesis, titled “Cult and Exegetical Literature of the Goths: Arianism and the Skeireins”, reflects his focus during this period on Late Antique and Medieval literary sources. Additionally, he acquired skills in Germanic philology to better understand the Gothic language.
Previously, he earned a Bachelor's degree in Archaeological Sciences at Sapienza University. During this program, he participated in excavations and laboratory activities, gaining skills in the analysis of archaeological and epigraphic materials—experiences that contributed to his interdisciplinary training.
