Research: Sustainability in Universities: Roles, Perceptions, and Impacts.

Giacinto Coniglio is a PhD Student in Management, Banking & Commodity Sciences at the Department of Management of the University of Rome ‘La Sapienza’.

In the 2021/2022 academic year, he obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Sciences (Business Management curriculum) from the University of Rome ‘La Sapienza’ with 110/110 cum laude, discussing a thesis in Political Economy entitled "The sovereign debt crisis: Mario Draghi and the adoption of Quantitative Easing" (supervisor Prof. Luigi Ventura).

In the academic year 2023/2024, he obtained a Master's Degree in Business Management with a Path of Excellence (curriculum in Business Management) from the same university, obtaining a grade of 110/110 cum laude with a thesis in Corporate Governance entitled "ESG & University: an analysis of students' perceptions of sustainability issues" (supervisor Prof. Salvatore Esposito De Falco; co-supervisor Prof. Nicola Cucari).

During his academic career, he participated in the Erasmus+ mobility programme at the Universitatea din București in Romania and at the Universitat de València in Spain.

AWARDS AND RECOGNITIONS:

- Master's Degree Award for Best Thesis in ESG funded by Osservatorio ESG Ability
