Research: Combined chemical-physical and biological processes for the remediation of polluted aquifers

Geremia Sassetto was born in Venice on 24/02/1999.
In October 2021, he obtained a three-year degree in Industrial Chemistry from the University of Rome "La Sapienza" with 110/110 cum laude, presenting the thesis "Comparative study of bioelectrochemical oxidation reactions" under the supervision of Prof. Mauro Majone and Dr. Marco Zeppilli.
In October 2023, at the same university, he obtained a master's degree in Industrial Chemistry, ARES address, with a score of 110/110 cum laude, discussing the thesis "Bioelectrochemical removal of Trichloroethylene from contaminated water: process optimization in the presence of competitive reactions", under the supervision of Dr. Marco Zeppilli.
Since November 2023, he had a doctoral scholarship in Chemical Processes for Industry and the Environment at La Sapienza University.
