Associate professor

Generally speaking, I am interested in the interplay between motivational and cognitive processess that underlies human thinking and behavior and its effects on interpersonal relationships and group phenomena.

My main focus is the understanding of how peoples’ needs and goals influence their judgments, beliefs, attitudes and behavior. Specifically, I have dedicated myself to the study of motivational processes that underlie various social phenomena such as, for example, forgiveness, persuasion, prejudice, violent and prosocial behavior, and conspiratorial beliefs and thinking.
