Research: Thermoplastic matrix composite materials: study of process parameters for the production of eco-sustainable prepregs optimized for industrial high-productivity manufacturing
Gaia Francesca Lupia obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering with a thesis on materials entitled "Self-healing concrete" at the "Sapienza" University of Rome.
At the same university, she graduated from the Master program of Chemical Engineering with a specialization in Materials, presenting a thesis entitled "Study and optimization of different production technologies for high-performance thermoplastic polyamide (PA6) matrix composites: manufacturing, mechanical, and thermomechanical characterization".
In the 2024, she won the doctoral scholarship in Electrical Engineering, Materials, and Nanotechnology at the "Sapienza" University of Rome and started the PhD program. Her research activities will be conducted at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Materials, and Environment at the same university.
