Concerning the
scientific research Francesco Petitta mainly deals with the qualitative and quantitative study of elliptic and parabolic Nonlinear Partial Differential Equations. In particular, he study the existence, non-existence, regularity and qualitative properties of solutions for boundary problems associated with elliptic and parabolic equations with singular data and singular non-linearities,
Local estimates, Large Solutions, asymptotic behavior,
Elliptic and parabolic equations with measure data, elliptic and parabolic capacities,
Integro-Differential and Laplacian fractional equations, Non-local phenomena,
Elliptic and parabolic equations derived from functional with linear growth (1-Laplacian, relativistic equations, Mean Curvature Equation, Transparent Media Equations ...)
