CURRICULUM Statistica Metodologica

My research interests are statistical inference, Bayesian methods, decision-theoretic approaches, analysis and design of clinical trials.

I am currently in the third and final year of my PhD program, and my research is focusing on the study of the distributions of power and Bayes utility within a hybrid Bayesian-frequentist approach to hypothesis tests.

During the second year of PhD, I got the chance to spend some time abroad:
- working on an algorithm-based approach to oncology phase I drug combination trials at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute of Harvard University (Boston, USA);
- running 10^5 simulations to evaluate the operative characteristics of the Bayesian Hierarchical Logistic Regression Model under multiple borrowing scenarios in oncology phase I trials at Novartis Basel (Switzerland).
