Research: Characterization of the Jupiter troposphere from NASA/Juno infrared spectral data

Since my bachelor degree I worked on gas giants planets and exoplanets, focusing on their atmospheres and physical properties.
In my bachelor's and master's degrees I studied two exoplanets, KELT-16b and HATS-2b, analyzing both ground-based multi-color data and light curves from NASA TESS mission. My analysis focused on the determination of planetary and stellar parameters (including star spots), on the study of transit timing variations, and on the detection of the atmosphere using low-resolution transmission spectroscopy.
Since the end of 2022 I am a member of the NASA Juno/JIRAM team and a next generation member of the ESA JUICE/MAJIS instrument. As a PhD student I'm currently analyzing the spectra from JIRAM performing atmospheric retrievals using the NASA PSG radiative transfer suite. The focus of the retrieval analysis is the characterization of the physical properties of the clouds and hazes that generate the beautiful patterns (similar to Van Gogh's paintings) that are possible to observe in the pictures of the Jupiter's atmosphere.
