Francesca Zacchei was born in Tarquinia on October 26, 1992. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering in 2015 and a Master's Degree in Safety Engineering in 2022.

Currently, she is attending a Philosophiae Doctor (PhD) in "Engineering and Applied Science for Energy and Industry" at the University of Rome "La Sapienza".

Her research area includes the field of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS), specifically Smart Roads and Smart Tunnels, with a vision toward Industry 5.0.
