Research: Citizen Science and Public Acceptance of Energy Transition Technologies.

PhD student in Social and Economic Sciences, holder of a PON grant with a research work focused on the study of public acceptance of new technologies for the energy transition. Public acceptance and public participation are the trajectories on which the research work is based.
During the first year of my PhD I started to work on parallel research with some colleagues, the focus of which was the emergence of energy communities in inland areas, especially in Southern Italy. The first part of the work was presented at the AIS Territory Conference in Milano Bicocca in January 2023. Today we also focus on the possibilities of the evaluative approach when studying energy communities.

Sociological background with a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and a Master's degree in Applied Social Sciences from the Department of Social and Economic Sciences at La Sapienza University.
