Phd in PUBLIC, COMPARATIVE AND INTERNATIONAL LAW

Research: Security, market and cyber risk. Standards and certification of ICT assets for cybersecurity needs in the European and national law (IUS/09)

Graduated cum laude in Law from La Sapienza University (A.Y. 2018/2019) with a thesis on Comparative Legal Systems on the cross-border traffic of personal data between the European Union and Japan.

In February 2022, the revised and updated version of the thesis was considered worthy of publication by the judging committee of Centro Studi Privacy e Nuove Tecnologie in the privacy and innovation series of Aracne publisher.

Passionate about new technologies and computer science, I have collaborated with professional studios engaged in the field of personal data protection, information security, and cybersecurity.
In 2020, I chose to specialize in these areas by obtaining master's degrees and attending courses on personal data protection, cybersecurity and informatics. I also qualified as an auditor for the ISO/IEC 27001 standard, related to the information security management system.

Since October 2022, I have been the recipient of a doctoral scholarship in Public, Comparative, and International Law – Public Law of the Economy curriculum (XXXVI cycle) - at the Department of Economics and Law of La Sapienza University.

As a tutor, I have carried out supplementary teaching activities under contract in Public Law Institutions (IUS/09) at the Faculty of Economics of La Sapienza University, in the AY. 2020/2021 and 2022/2023.

I have participated as a speaker in several conferences, including the IV Conference and Summer School in Ventotene, as well as the international seminar on Caparato Law "Le fonti della crisi: prospettive di Diritto comparato" promoted by the Gruppo di Pisa Association.

In September 2022, I took part in the Summer Course on European Information Technology Law at the Academy of European Law (ERA) in Trier.
Between November and December 2023, I was a visiting scholar at the Institute for Law, Technology, and Society (TILT) at the Faculty of Law of Tilburg University (NL).

I organized and promoted the seminar "Legalità ed economia: un dialogo a più voci sui fenomeni di infiltrazione mafiosa in economia" at the Faculty of Law of La Sapienza University, held on May 23, 2023, on the occasion of the remembrance day of the Capaci bombing.

My research interest focuses on the relationship between law and new technologies from the perspective of public law. The doctoral journey has been an opportunity to delve into this theme and investigate the use of technical standardization between market needs and (cyber)security.
