Federico Lijoi teaches Istituzioni di Etica and Storia della filosofia morale. He has a PhD in Moral Philosophy (2007). He won a scholarship at the Italian Institute for Historical Studies (Naples) in the academic years of 2002/2003 and 2006/2007, followed by a scholarship at the “Hans Kelsen Institut” in Vienna (2007/2008). He was a research fellow in Moral Philosophy at the “La Sapienza” University of Rome (2009-2011), in addition to winning an “Ernst Mach” Grant at the Department of Constitutional and Administrative Law of the University of Vienna (2010-2011), and being an adjunct professor of Italian and European Parliamentary Law in the Department of Political Sciences of the “Federico II” University of Naples (2010-2011). This was followed by a three-year period of employment as an adjunct professor of the Philosophy of law at the Department of Philosophy of the "La Sapienza" University of Rome (2012-2015). In 2013 he qualified as an associate professor in the Philosophy of Law (12/H3, S.S.D. IUS/20) and in 2014 and 2018 as an associate professor in Moral Philosophy (11/C3, S.S.D. M-FIL/03). He then worked as an adjunct professor of Moral Philosophy at the Department of Philosophy and Communication Studies of the "Alma Mater Studiorum" University of Bologna (2017-2018). Since 2016 he is Assistant Professor in the sector of Moral Philosophy.
