Research: Advanced material modelling for virtual tyre development

Research activity:
Research project " Advanced material modelling for virtual tyre development " in collaboration with Bridgestone Europe. Virtual Tyre Development is a technology that allows the design of a digital twin of the tyre, virtually testing it and perfecting it before moving on to physical tests. The objective of the PhD will be the experimental evaluation of rubber compounds down to kHz regimes and the formulation of viscoelastic models capable of returning the observed behavior in the wide range of frequencies of interest.

2022- Admission to the PhD in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics - XXXVII Cycle – PON.
2021 - Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering 2021, Sapienza University of Rome, 110/110 cum laude. Thesis title: Sizing and verification of a High Field Superconducting Insert for the central solenoid of the DTT fusion reactor. Supervisor: Prof. Giuseppe Ruta. External Speaker: Dr. Luigi Muzzi.
