Research: “Integration of portfolio selection and active management methodologies in light of the new challenges of sustainability.”
PhD Student in Management, Banking and Commodity Sciences, Banking and Finance Curriculum, at the University of Rome La Sapienza. His research focuses on asset allocation, sustainable finance and risk management, with particular attention to systemic risk dynamics and the mechanisms of financial crisis propagation.
A central theme of his research concerns environmental sustainability in the financial sector, with specific reference to biodiversity and its potential value in financial markets and in the decision-making processes of banking intermediaries. He is also interested in the role of ESG criteria in financial markets and the regulatory implications for operators in the sector, as well as the study of cryptocurrencies as a new asset class from a risk management and financial stability perspective.
He has contributed to the debate on sustainable finance with a brief note on ESG obligations and the Omnibus Package, published on the SFIDE SAPIENZA (High School of Financial Cooperation and Development) website, drawing attention to the ECB's warning about the risks of incomplete integration of sustainability into the financial system (link below).
His research objective is to contribute to the development of analytical models and tools capable of integrating sustainability, risk management and financial stability, with a rigorous and practical approach.
