Research:
Eugenia Salvadori was born in Alatri in 1994.
She studied at the Sapienza University in Rome, gaining a Bachelor's Degree in Art History in 2016 with a thesis on medieval art entitled “La Madonna di Costantinopoli in Alatri” (The Madonna of Constantinople in Alatri) (supervisor: Professor Anna Maria D'Achille).
In 2018 she obtained her Master’s Degree in Art History with a thesis on the frescoes of the Upper Basilica of Assisi, entitled “Innovazioni tecniche nel cantiere della Basilica superiore di Assisi: una nuova ‘ottica’ della rappresentazione” (Technical innovations in the construction of the Upper Basilica of Assisi: a new ‘perspective’ of representation) (supervisors: Professor Eliana Billi and Professor Anna Maria D'Achille).
In 2019 she attended the 2nd-level Master in “Esperto in Comunicazione storica: televisione e multimedialità” at Roma Tre University and completed a Summer School course in Digital Humanities organized by Roma Tre University, the Bibliotheca Hertziana of Rome and Milan’s National Museum of Science and Technology “Leonardo da Vinci”.
She is currently completing her PhD at Sapienza University’s Department of History, Anthropology, Religions, Art and Theatre, where her research is dedicated to the study of monumental fountains in medieval Europe.
