Holds a Master’s degree in Biology from the University of Naples “Federico II” and is currently a PhD student in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology at the University of Rome “La Sapienza.”
He has a background in molecular biology and biochemistry, gained through more than a year of thesis work in a laboratory, where he learned techniques for protein expression and purification.
During a voluntary research period at the National Research Council (CNR) of Naples, he developed skills in biological data analysis using R (RStudio, DESeq2, DECIPHER) and in phylogenetic tree construction. He is familiar with structural bioinformatics tools, including ChimeraX and AlphaFold/ColabFold.
He is currently enhancing his knowledge of Python and R programming languages.
