Phd in INFRASTRUCTURES AND TRANSPORT

Research:

Emin Alakbarli is a PhD student of the XXXVII cycle, Infrastructures, Transport Systems and Geomatics curriculum of the PhD in Infrastructures and Transport at the University of Rome "La Sapienza".

In 2017 he graduated in Mechanical Engineering at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University, with a thesis entitled “Hydraulic fracturing of rocks ".

In 2021 he obtained a Master's degree in Transport System Engineering, defending a thesis in "Risk analysis in tunnel and infrastructure from multiple hazards" at the Sapienza University of Rome, under the supervision of Professor Massimo Guarascio.

During the academic years, he obtained an Erasmus + traineeship scholarship (2020), a traineeship at “UPS” company in Netherland (2021) and took part in the joint project “Training Course for Safety Managers in Tunnel / Corso di Formazione per Responsabili della Sicurezza in Galleria” (2020-2021), organized by Autostrade per l'Italia and Sapienza University.

From 2021 he is teaching assistant for the Department of Civil, Constructional and Environmental Engineering in the course of Safety and Risk analysis at the Sapienza University of Rome (Professor Massimo Guarascio).

He is also part of the “Seismic Geostatistics for Risk Engineering Applications’’ research group for ANAS (state owned company for roads).

He followed the advanced training course “Forensic Engineering”/“Corso di Formazione in Ingegneria Forense” organized by the Sapienza University of Rome.

He speaks the following languages: Azerbaijani (mother tongue), Turkish (C2), English (C1), Russian (B2), Italian(A2).
