Research:

Elena Spaziani is a PhD student at the University of Rome "La Sapienza" in Russian linguistics and culture.
In 2019 she graduated with honours in "Linguistic and intercultural mediation" at the University of Rome "La Sapienza" with a dissertation on "Verbal aspect in Russian: an overview on linguistics and language teaching methodology".
In 2022 she received her master's degree with honours from the same University, with a dissertation on "A comparative analysis on defective nouns in Russian and in Italian".

In 2018 she obtained a mobility grant and she spent a semester at Lomonosov State University (MSU).

Her research interests mainly concern comparative linguistics, corpus linguistics and grammatical semantics.
