Graduated with honours in Architecture (1989) and Ph.D. at Sapienza University of Rome (1995); Researcher (1995) and then Associate Professor (2001) at the University of Camerino. Since 2008 she is at La Sapienza where she is Director of the Master in "Communication of Cultural Heritage”.
Her research work concerned concerns diverse aspects, focusing in particular on three themes:
- the relationships between representation and digital technologies to enhance and communicate the tangible and intangible cultural heritage;
- the analytical and descriptive investigation of artefacts and urban aggregates through their classification in the specific environmental and landscape context also through GIS systems;
- the architectural representation between history, norm and innovation, also deepening the possibilities of digital languages.
She has participated at numerous Congress and Exhibitions and she is the author of over 140 research products, including over 120 scientific publications.
