Research: Generation of a vascularized 3D bio-printed neural model starting from hippocampal progenitors differentiated from iPSCs

Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in "Life Sciences" (39th cycle) with the project "Generation of a vascularized 3D bio-printed neural model starting from hippocampal progenitors differentiated from iPSCs." Advisor: Prof. Silvia Di Angelantonio. Supervisor: Dr. Caterina Sanchini.

From May 2023 to October 2023 - Collaborator on "Morpho-functional analysis of an in vitro model of three-dimensional neural tissue through 3D printing, obtained by differentiating hippocampal neurons from human iPSCs with KS genetic mutation" at the "Italian Institute of Technology," Rome, Viale Regina Elena 291. Under the supervision of Dr. Caterina Sanchini.

From April 2022 to March 2023 - Research grant for the project "Generation and validation of induced pluripotent stem cell lines with mutations in the HCN1 gene through gene editing" at the University "Sapienza" of Rome and the "Italian Institute of Technology," Rome, Viale Regina Elena 291. Under the supervision of Prof. Alessandro Rosa.

From 2021 to 2022 - Second-level Master's degree in Stem Cells and Genome Editing (u-stem) in memoriam of Paolo Bianco at "Sapienza" University of Rome. Experimental thesis: "Edited iPSCs based models of neurological diseases as Developmental and epileptic encephalopathies, GNAOpathies, and bone pain." Advisor: Prof. Alessandro Rosa.

From March 2021 to February 2022 - Grant and Technology Transfer Office- Research Management- Scientific Direction at IRC.C.S. Pediatric Hospital Bambino Gesù.

From 2018 to 2020 - Master's degree in Genetics and Molecular Biology at "Sapienza" University of Rome. Experimental thesis: "Characterization of monoclonal antibodies against alpha1-antitrypsin." Advisor: Prof. Maria Elena Miranda Banos.

From 2015 to 2018 - Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology at "Sapienza" University of Rome. Experimental thesis: "Analysis of H2AX histone phosphorylation in irradiated transfected tumor cells with miRNA 486." Advisor: Prof. Rodolfo Negri.
