The study plan to explore leadership through behavioral and physiological correlates. A first study aims to explore the degree of interference exerted by each category of face (dominant, non-dominant, neutral) in the two groups of participants and whether the degree of interference exerted by the dominant faces on managers is predictive of other traits and skills in managers (for example, if a lower degree of interference correlates positively with the successes and hierarchical position of the manager and with his negotiating skills). In a second study we would both like to explore the extent to which Emotional contagion and Physiological contagion are asymmetric (from leader to follower more than in opposite direction) and to test whether the leadership style (transformational vs transactional) differentially influences the viral spreading of negative vs positive moods and physiological states
