Research: Imago Salomonis. Mystical-sapiential literature in the political reflection of Italian Humanism

Delia Del Prete (Naples, 1997) received her bachelor's degree in Classical Literature (L-10) from the University "La Sapienza" of Rome, discussing a thesis in History of the Greek language entitled "Presocratic Lexicon: morphological and semantic evolution in Heraclitus, Xenophanes and Parmenides" (supervisor: Prof. S. Kaczko). He continued his classical studies at the same university, obtaining a master's degree in Philology, Literature and History of the Ancient World (LM-15), with a thesis in Hebrew, entitled "At the origins of Christian Kabbalah. Ritual acts in Pico’s interpretation of Jewish sources"( supervisors: professors F. Lelli and G. Lettieri).
She then further deepened her knowledge of Judaism at the Pontifical Gregorian University, where she was awarded a two-year fellowship and the degree of Licentiate in Jewish Studies and Jewish-Christian Relations, writing in her thesis about the figure of Judah Abravanel and his reception in the Christian sphere (supervisors: professors: F. Lelli and M. Gargiulo).
In August 2023, she was the winner of a scholarship for an intensive Hebrew language course at the University of Haifa.
She is currently a doctoral student in History, Anthropology and Religions at "La Sapienza" University of Rome
