Danilo Dini (D.D.) obtained his Ph.D. in Materials Science at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” (Italy) and held two postdoctoral positions at the Institut fur Physikalische Chemie of Max-Planck-Institut (Berlin, Germany), and in the Institut fur Organische Chemie of the University of Tuebingen (Germany). After being employed as researcher in the School of Chemical Sciences at DCU (Dublin, Ireland), D.D. joined the Dept. of Chemistry of the University of Rome “La Sapienza” (Italy). Main research interests are photoelectrochemistry, photophysics of conjugated molecular materials and solar energy conversion devices. D.D. has authored more than 150 peer-reviewed papers in international journals (h-index : 42).
