Daniele Passeri, Associate Professor at the University of Rome Sapienza since May 2022, graduated with honors in Electronic Engineering in 2003 from the same university, where he also obtained the title of PhD in Electromagnetism in 2007. He has collaborated continuously to research in the field of nanotechnology, in particular dedicating itself to the development and application of microscopy and characterization techniques at the nanoscale. In particular, he has developed skills in the field of mechanical, electrical and magnetic characterizations of nanomaterials and nanocomposites, for applications ranging from the energy to the biomedical sectors. He taught Physics and Electron Microscopies and Related Techniques at the Faculty of Civil and Industrial Engineering of the Sapienza University of Rome. He has given oral presentations at congresses and conferences. He has published 4 volumes as Editor and over 80 scientific articles and conference proceedings as an author. He is associate editor of the Journal Scanning.
