Doctoral students in Philology and History of the Ancient World (XXXIX cycle) at Sapienza University of Rome, are organizing the annual doctoral seminar “Semi di Sapienza” (Seeds of Wisdom), which will be held on June 4 and 5, 2026, in Rome (Faculty of Letters, 3rd floor, Room XXII). The theme chosen for this year is the study of forms of contamination.
The call is open to students of the XXXIX, XL, and XLI cycles of the doctoral programs in Philology and History of the Ancient World, Archaeology and History, Anthropology, and Religions at Sapienza University of Rome.
Interested doctoral students are invited to submit their proposals for presentations lasting a maximum of 20 minutes.Proposals must be sent in .pdf format by February 28, 2026, to the email address semidisapienza2026@gmail.com
