Research: The Middle and Recent Bronze Age in north-western Italy: chronology, cultural and social aspects, contacts with Italy and the transalpine area.
I am a PhD student on a scholarship for the 37th cycle of the PhD programme at the Sapienza University of Rome, with a project entitled "The Middle and Recent Bronze Age in north-western Italy: chronology, cultural and social aspects, contacts with Italy and the transalpine area" (Tutor: Prof. Andrea Cardarelli; Co-tutor: Dr. Marica Venturino)
Academic career:
I graduated from the Specialisation School in Archaeological Heritage at the Sapienza University of Rome, prehistory and protohistory curriculum, with an experimental thesis entitled "The Middle and Recent Bronze Age necropolises of Alba (CN), Canegrate (MI) and Gambolò (PV). Burial rituality and aspects of social organisation' (Supervisor: Prof. Andrea Cardarelli, chair of European Protohistory), with a mark of 70/70 cum laude.
I graduated with a Master's Degree in Archaeology from the Sapienza University of Rome with an experimental thesis entitled 'La necropoli ad incinerazione dell'età del Bronzo di Alba (CN)' (Supervisor: Prof. Andrea Cardarelli, co-rapporteur Dr. Marica Venturino), with a mark of 110/110 cum laude.
I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in History and Conservation of Cultural Heritage, archaeological curriculum, from the University of Rome - Roma Tre, with an experimental thesis entitled "I materiali preromani di Villa Maruffi", (Supervisor: Prof. Alessandro Guidi, chair of Palethnology).
Main excavation and research activities:
From 2022 to present: Member of the excavation and research team for the Bronze Age settlement of Frattesina, Fratta Polesine (RV) under the scientific direction of Prof. A. Cardarelli, Sapienza University of Rome, and the Dr. Paolo Bellintani, CPPSAE.
From 2015 to present: Member of the excavation and research team of the Bronze Age settlement of Monte Croce Guardia, Arcevia (AN) under the scientific direction of Prof. A. Cardarelli, Sapienza University of Rome.
