Claudia Musetti is a PhD candidate in Infrastructure and Transport at Sapienza University of Rome. She received her Master's degree in Transport Systems Engineering from Sapienza University of Rome, where her thesis focused on railway capacity analysis in complex railway nodes using analytical and combinatorial methods.
Her research focuses on railway capacity analysis, railway operations modelling, and the development of methodologies for evaluating railway infrastructure performance. In particular, she investigates the reconstruction of infrastructure and operational models from publicly available data, the comparison between analytical approaches and microscopic simulation tools, and the impact of railway node complexity on capacity and operational reliability.
Her research interests also include railway simulation, transport automation, operations optimization, and data analysis applied to transport infrastructure.
