Research: Voices for global citizenship: young people with migrant backgrounds and peacebuilding through digital platforms. A comparison between Italy and Germany.

From 2024 - Researcher for Istituto di Ricerche Internazionali Archivio Disarmo. Main Projects: - I Nuovi Italiani nella Diocesi di Roma e le Sfide dell'Integrazione: this research project was commissioned by the Diocese of Rome and implemented in 2024. The research aims to analyze the identity construction and inclusion of “Second Generation” youth in the Roman community. Through focus groups and in-depth interviews, the relationship of young people with migrant backgrounds with their culture of origin and with Italian culture was examined to understand how they experience a cultural “double belonging.” I was in charge of conducting the interviews and analyzing them. In addition, I participated in drafting the research report, writing section 5.3 “Il lavoro come esperienza di realtà”. Now, the projecting is still ongoing, and is expanding the research in the Lazio region. - Cittadini di pace, cittadini del mondo. Percorsi formativi di educazione alla cittadinanza globale: the following project involves research and training activities in schools of all levels on contemporary issues relating to geopolitics, migration and citizenship, human rights, weapons and disarmament. - POT "Piani Orientamento e Tutorato": as part of this project with Sapienza University of Rome and IRIAD, I am involved in education in high schools in Rome. In particular, I am focusing on contemporary issues using a Macro perspective. The lessons are divided into two parts: theoretical and practical, with some workshops. This project aims to do orientation on social science courses and to help students in their university choices. - P.A.R.KO.UR "Periferie Attive ricreano Koscienza Urbana": funded by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, Department for Family Policies, the project aims to combat educational poverty and support cultural and educational opportunities for minors.
